My Deltec UPSes are like that, except at 108v or so they clamp and go
into their own inverter. Our power company LOVES to feed that good ol
95V power to us (and occasionally 140v) and with a meter on the back
side it never goes above 122 and below 108 - safe enough.

(These are the cheapie Deltec Powerrite models - I think I paid $120 for
a 300W two years ago)
