Re: User Error

Now this is the most strange debugging session
I ever had.

A day or two ago I sent a mail to this list, describing
my problems with a certain user that is trying to connect
to our PortMaster 3. Sometimes (too often) it happens that
he gets disconnected after 3 seconds and the radius log
says "User Error".

I was trying to debug this and did a "set debug 0x51"
and "set console". I was simply not able to get a bad
connect when I was watching the debug log. So I "reset
console" and in the mean time the user was trying to
connect, and guess what, he got disconnected after
3 seconds!

So - when I have "set debug 0x51" and "set console"
he is able to connect EVERY TIME. As soon as I do
a "reset console" he has problems connecting.

Can anybody explain that????? Here is a ppp log of a
successful session (I obviously can't get a log of
an unsuccessful session).

Currently I have a telnet with set console running
on a terminal so that the user can connect. But
I can't leave it like that forever :)
