Remote Installation Services

Hardware Installation and System Software Configuration Service is provided at no charge and is designed to aid those of you who perform your own installations. Service is available Monday through Friday, during standard business hours (contacting Tech-Support).

Network Design and Integration Services provides you with assistance in the design, installation and configuration of products that go beyond our standard installation/configuration tasks. Pricing is based on an hourly rate and is dependent upon the number of units to be configured.

Warranty Options

Hardware Warranty for InterNetworking Systems products is one year for hardware, including resident system software. Our warranty includes remote telephone support Monday through Friday, during standard business hours (contacting Tech-Support) and next business day advanced replacement of parts.

Warranty Plus is an enhanced warranty service that provides you with around-the-clock access to skilled technical support personnel. In addition, next-day advanced replacement of parts is available every day of the week, all year long. As a Warranty Plus customer, you receive priority response commitments with a 4-hour trouble resolution objective for urgent service requests.

Post Warranty Maintenance Options

Extended Hardware Warranty Services is an extension of the standard Hardware Warranty service, providing priority response objectives and next-day advanced replacement parts for hardware failures Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Extended Warranty Plus Services provide maximum access to our Technical Support Center and spare parts, giving you access to technical expertise around-the-clock, seven days a week. You will receive priority response commitments and a 4-hour trouble resolution objective for urgent service requests. Next-day-advanced-replacement of parts is provided seven days a week.

Flat Rate Exchange Service

At the expiration of your factory warranty, you may choose to use our flat rate exchange option. This will ensure that any Lucent defective components are repaired or replaced within ten business days of receiving the product. Advanced replacement of parts is also available as an additional option. Prices for this program will take effect on November 1, 1998.

Staging and On-Site Installation Services

If you have limited technical resources and/or a geographically distributed network implementation, this may be the answer you've been looking for. We can provide you with staging and on-site installation services throughout the continental U.S.A.

On-Site Maintenance Services

Lucent now offers nationwide on-site maintenance with a four-hour response time. Travel, labor, and replacement parts are included in this offer.
