I called support last Wednesday for the first time in months. I got
through to a support person in under a minute.

If Lucent doesn't know it's broken, how will they fix it?

If your phone line at home breaks, do you just wait around and hope it
magically fixes itself? No, I bet you call Ameritech or whoever to
tell them it's broke.
