I'd like to follow this thread up with an SNMP mib renumbering proposal.
Currently, the pm4 simply numbers important mibs like online users,
sessions, etc as 1-N, where N is the number of modems in the box.

I would propose that the numbering be on a per card basis, with a separate
higher level mib per card. For example, say that .1.1.1-96 is card one
usernames, then .1.2.1-96 would be card two usernames. Same with session
ids, retrains, renegs, etc etc.

This would greatly aid ISPSs in monitoring their Pm4's with mrtg and such
on a per card basis. Thoughts?
