I'm not so sure about this now. Originally that is how it was going to be,
but I've seen a lot of people report that they can connect with V.42bis
and still get Stac. Now, performace with both is better than V.42bis alone,
but not as good as just running Stac without the V.42bis in there. So it
is still a good idea.
