Re: (PM) An issue with 3.8.2 after 21 days?

I had posted the original "21 days" dealie. At the 21 day mark I noticed a
substantial increase in connect problem support calls. It lasted a few
days, but slowly drifted away. We're now back to the normal load of calls
about modem problems -- PCI rockwell HCF's, some USR's, LT Winmodems, the
comma trick, etc etc.

False alarm I suppose. Dunno.

(I was talking to an old BBSer. Been doing it for like 15 years. His
comment was that every single time "they" released faster modems he went
through about 2 years of garbage like this. Just thought it was some
interesting input.)
