You may want to set the pool on the PM2 unless it runs to the end of your
block of IP's, other wise, if I remember correctly, the unit will keep
assigning addresses all the way up the block until it reaches full circle
(the first assigned address on the PM2.)

I typically notice latency when making this change.

I would imagine the user would connect fine, however, since they are
never assigned an IP, they just cannot go anywhere.
