That suggestion came from a Livingston support tech. I held off from doing
it as I was not comfortable with this idea and posted the question here in
the support list.

Is this information contained in the documentation or ComOS help? It would
seem that the PM3 should give a more 'intuitive' answer than "s23 not
installed". After all, after being configured for dual PRI, ComOS should
know to say something like "s23 is being used for signalling".
