Subject: ISP SETUP

Dear sirs,

I got your email address from Lucent and I am planning a start up an ISP for
1000 subscribers initially and grow potentially to 10,000 subscribers.
We have a Sparc 20 server and lots of PII-3xx intel PC's. I cannot decide
on using SUn polaris or NT on the PC. I plan to get 100 phone lines into
100 external X2 or K56 modems thta we have.

To learn more, can you please email your ISP diagram from the telephone
telco
box thru concentraTORS and your servers config and backup etc ?

I am looking into Lucent, 3COM and Cisco solutions - any idea which one is
best fit ? also, budget wise ?

What software is available on either Unix or NT that can allow easy
subscriber
account set up and maintenance and billings ?

All your inputs will be deeply appreciated and rewarded when you have to buy
some PC parts. I run a PC wholesale and getting parts at good wholesale
prices.

Thanks. Charles.
