Are you using ChoiceNet to set a filter for this user? I found that if a
user has a filter specified, and the PM has to ask ChoiceNet for it, and
if neither ChoiceNet server respond, the connection will just sit there in
"CONNECTING" state indefinitely.
Also, since the user has Win95, he can turn on PPP debugging on his end so
you can compare notes:
Control Panel
`- Network
`- Dial-Up Adapter properties
`- Advanced
`- set "Record a log file" to Yes
This will dump the PPP negotiation to c:\windows\ppplog.txt. It isn't
quite as thorough as the PM's debugging output, but it may give you a
better idea of where the problem is.
