No, that would be basically recreating RADIUS 2.1.

I completely agree with you, and I believe that is what will happen
ultimately. AFAIK, RADIUS 2.1 (or an Open Beta version) will be going out
either just before or at the same time as ComOS 3.8 final is actually
released, just for that very reason.

NOTE: I don't know why this got taken to the portmaster-users list, it
needs to stay on portmaster-radius, so please follow-up there. Thanks.
