You'all missed the one I just experienced with USWest. The xmit/rcv pairs
were reversed. The outside tech had looped up the circuit with a loopback
plug (worked fine, of course) 'cause he had just got his TBERD a couple of
weeks ago and never got any training on it. The guy had done this to 3 T1's
in one of our new POP's. I made him go and get the TBERD out of his truck
and gave a training session on the spot. I figured if I was out there
troubleshooting at 2000 on a Sat, he could spend some time with me.
