What is your mail server using? sendmail, qmail, etc?
I have 2 setup now that use ETRN...
You need to set them up with a static ip and put in the MX records.
Setup here:

BSDi 2.1
RADIUS 2.0.1
Sendmail 8.8.8
Bind 8.1.1
