RFE: disable v.8bis (was Re: (PM) V.8bis tone)

I would like to ask that we be given the option to NOT have K56Flex
backwards compatibility. I will instead have the user maintain a v.34
connection until they upgrade to v.90. Why add another level of support
for myself? ;)
