A PM-2e doesn't have a WAN port. A PM-2R or PM-2eR does, but needs an
external CSU/DSU.

A CSU/DSU is needed for any T1 connection. Be it leased line or dialin.
Line0 has a CSU/DSU, and Line1 on a 2 port unit ALSO has a CSU/DSU. And
the WAN card will have its own CSU/DSU. It is *per port* - not just
something buried in the unit.
If you need to do dialin AND attach a leased line, then you need a two
port unit.
