If you use "pmcommand" that comes with the PMConsole package from the
command line on a Unix box, you will be able to kill those hung telnet
connections as described on the above mentioned web site. The "pmcommand"
tool accesses the Portmaster in the same way as PMConsole, but gives you
access to the regular command line (although one command at a time). It
is not affected by the hung telnets.
