Hi,

I'm using an Office Router and I'm not managing to put syslog to work.

My loghost (linux box) address is properly configured as shown by a
'show global' command.

With a 'show syslog' i get:

admin-logins: local2.info
user-logins: local2.info
packet-filters: local2.notice
commands: local2.info
termination: local2.notice

With a 'show netconns' i get:

Hnd Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address (state)
3 0 0 gw1-e0.1023 gw2.514 UDP

Wich shows the UDP connection to loghost's syslog port (514)

On the loghost have the following syslog.conf directive:

local2.* /var/log/gw1.log

But the fact is: I have *NO* logs pooring in /var/log/gw1.log.=20
Can anyone help? Have I missed anything?

Thanks in advance,

Jose
