I just got done looking up four numbers for a customer of ours who was
having trouble connecting at k56flex. All of the numbers had multiple
load coils in them. I would say 3 miles is the limitation, because when
engineers place cable, any loops over 18,000 feet are loaded at 3000
feet and 6000 feet thereafter. This is a standard design. I actually
have the sheets that tell you where to place the load coils.
