1) hehe get on the livingston site and read the FAQs relating to the PM3
2) For many non-k56flex modems if they can't negotiate try adding from 1-6
commas after the phone number to get it over the v.8bis hump...
3) For K56Flex connect problems... hmm, I'd wait for v.PCM... no use
getting K56Flex all nice and good if v.PCM is different... ;) well, at
this point no one really knows..
4) for the ROM upgrades / firmware upgrades ALWAYS try for the newest
stable versions.
5) BEFORE asking on the list about XYZ modem, check the archives... and
bookmark the modem lists that people have... there are at least 4 decently
populated init string lists out there... 8( mines sucks as I haven't
worked on it...
