(PM) 40 seconds to authenticate?

Livingston RADIUS 2.0.1
Linux version 2.0.31
3 PM2E's ComOS 3.3.3
2 PM3's ComOS 3.7.2

All take a LONG time to authenticate... I thought this was slow radius
server but that is now a very fast system, Pent Pro somthing.

Things I have done so far to find it:
Turned off CHAP
Added, then deleted, alternate radius server address

Note: When I tested the alternate I set it to the same system.

What's next, or is almost a minute a norman time?
