Since your line stats don't look horrid I didn't include copies of the, A
few errors is fine although you can get the telco to work on it.
Since all I can do is guess, my educated guess is..... The customers
phone lines. A change in the weather seems to do it here. When it gets
cold for long enough frost forms on the telco's wires and this affects the
customers lines. When we get a rapid thaw after a large snowstorm a
couple of areas of town become impossible to keep a connection for more
than a few minutes. I have postulated that the water runs down the
manholes and wets out the lines. Seems to correlate with USWest repair
crews working in those areas of town really well but no, they are not
having any problems. And yes, the really cheap modems seem to have many
more problems.
