(PM) Boca Modems

Interesting info.. while listening to my 'problem' modem.. when attempting
to connect after the 1st couple of beeps, the PM3 stops.. maybe it's
waiting for the boca modem to complete some sequence of beeps, but the boca
is constantly making one tone.. the boca does connect if i put it into v.32
mode.. however it fails completly with above symptoms in either v.34 or
v.fc mode.. i've tried disabling error correction/ data compression
