Well... Per port it should be pretty cheap - prolly around the
equivilance of a modem, considering it wouldn't be any more complex than
a $16.99 generic sound card minus the bus I/O, but the addition of a
minimal mpeg chip to compress/decompress the sound data (unsure of the
price there). Its not like it has to be perfect, we're dealing with 8k
8bit samples here.
