It works fine BECAUSE 1 and 2 are twisted which is okay and 4 and 5 are
ALSO twisted because 1=White/orange, 2=orange, 3=White/green, 6=green, so
this is the CORRECT twisting, Ring1 and Tip1 and Ring2 and Tip2, NEVER
twist 2 tips or 2 rings or this will have exactly the OPPOSITE effect and
actually cause problems.

BUT... do you really need twisted pair for a max 20' cable? Has anyone
just used flat satin?
