PM3 56k modems...Trouble

I installed my first three 8modem 56k cards this morning...
They ran like champs ALL DAY

About 30 minutes ago the analog portion or the modems wont connect anymore.
they are going into a connect state when dialed but no further
the user does not get even a request for authentication

I can use ISDN but not the modems

I have reboot but not powered down as this is a remote POP

Any suggestions...
