Is that a Quake "ping" or a standard ping? A standard ping of 160-200ms
would not make a good Quake game.
The Lucent modems fix this problem, and if you have a K56Flex modem, it's
even better. Latency is very low (Modem-wise) with K56Flex.
Regardless, we're really not worried about this anymore. I wrote this
stuff before I had the K56Flex modems. <G>
