Oh C'mon Kevin.

Shipping non-1.0 complient K56Flex was a botch. A serious botch.

Facts are, without V.8bis support you're not K56flex complient. Yet lots of
people (LOTS, Kevin, so don't take it personally) are sporting that
PROPRIETARY logo on their web and other marketing materials, and have been
for a while.

Technically speaking, you're not supposed to do that unless you have the
interoperable code.

Who drove the early release of that firmware?
