Oops, let me take what I said back...

It will depend on how you route it....

I was thinking of a PMeR... but if you have say a Cisco 2501 then you can
assign IP addys outside of the /24 block or whatever the PMx is on.

If you _only_ have a PM2eR, it cannot use anything outside of the block it
is on...it cannot bind multiple ip addys.
