You will need to add an init string in the advanced tab of DUN.

Here are some 56k init strings that I have collected.

Hayes 56k : +ms=11,0,2400,33600
Motorola 56k: &f&c1&d2&d3+ms=11,0,9600,33600
or at&f2+ms=v34
Rockwell 56k: +ms11,1,14400,33600
Supra 56k: at&f2+ms=v34
Zoom 56k: &f+ms=11,1,300,33600
