He is using the default protocol on his ISDN adapter, which is x75.
He will never be able to connect with async ppp as the linux driver
only does x75 and v110, and the PM only does v120.
Tell him to read the documentation included with linux and set the
protocol to ppp over sync hdlc. Then it works like a charm. I have
been using it for about 15 months now and I get ftp tranfer rates of
7.6 Kb/S, where my colleages with winXXX get 6,0 - 6,6 Kb/S.
