hello all,

we have a customer who is trying to connect to us using isdn and async
ppp. he has an internal terminal adapter in a linux box. below is a copy
of part of his session. we cannot get him to connect.

when he tries to connect to us using a terminal emulation program, he
never even gets our login prompt.

he believes that our end is always trying to do sync ppp. even when he
just uses kermit, after connect, he hits the return key and gets sync ppp
packets.

anything different about async ppp?

any pointers appreciated,
mike
