Once upon a time Vic Whaley shaped the electrons to say...
>We recently added a ISDN user on our s0 port. This user has a .240
>subnet. We are running comos 3.5.01. This customer is authenitcated
>via radius. Do we need to add a route? If so do we need to make sure

You want to add a Framed-Route entry in RADIUS for their subnet.

Also, I'd advise running ComOS 3.5 or higher, with 'set user-netmask on'.

You will also have routing issues - make sure the subnet is routed to the
PM to start. Running OSPF is aa great way to handle such things.

>He currently dials up and gets connected for about 30 seconds and then
>gets dropped. We are using a 3com Impact IQ as our terminal adapter to
>our portmaster 2e30. The other end is being routed via an ascend
>router.

That sounds like an issue between the TA and the Ascend, or possibly a
failed PPP negotiation.

You can run a PPP debug to see if negotiation is failing.
