I have one of these. I don't connect up via Trumpet, usually its Win95 DUN
or BSD.
The user doesn't need to pass any config to the 3Com via an init string,
unlike the bitsurfr. There is a config program that you need to run on the
3com that gives it the specifics of what type of calls you are wanting to
make (56k, 64k, 56k DOV, etc). Make sure that they have run it, and
configured the bitsurfr correctly. One thing that I discovered, when not
being able to connect via dual b channel in Win95 is taking off the Chap
authentication. I don't remember the exact s-register, but I believe it is
s81, they can consult the manual for this information. Also I have not
tried dialing into a PM3 with this.
