We have the same problem here. We also tryied many ways to resolve this.

So far, no luck yet. These are what we have tryied:(from Livingston and
many
other's suggestions)

1. Upgrade to COM-OS 3.5
2. make sure the modem ventilation is good and cool. We had put two fans
on and kept
the temp on 65 F now.
3. applied Service Pack 1 to win95
4. replaced modems and cables

The magic word for fixing this is still "rebooting" the PM-2E-30's.

The ticket number I have from Livingston are 033866,034372,035480.
