routing problem

A client has a subnet 199.171.29.32/28 that I am routing through the
interface 199.171.29.225 because they are running an OS that requires a
seperate subnet on each interface.

I can ping them fine from the Portmaster, running OS 3.5. The route shows up
as:

199.171.29.225 32 199.171.29.225 local HS 1 ptp19
199.171.29.32 28 199.171.29.225 temp NS 1 ptp19

However, if I try to reach them from anywhere else on my network, I get:

traceroute to tranppp.consultechusa.com (199.171.29.225), 30 hops max, 40 byte
p ackets
1 pm2 (199.171.28.13) 0 ms 10 ms 0 ms
2 * * *
3 * * *

or

traceroute to consultechusa.com (199.171.29.33), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 lookingglass (199.171.28.1) 0 ms 10 ms 10 ms
2 pm2 (199.171.28.13) 0 ms 0 ms 10 ms
3 * * *

Any ideas? It seems strange that the packets are going in the right
direction, but not getting past the pm2 to their destination.

Thank you for any advice.
