That is correct. A v.34+ modem is a v.34+ modem regardless of which 56k
technology it supports.

This is VERY interesting news. I wonder if it is true or if he was possibly
misinformed and referring to the final standard instead of an interim
release. Also, did he specify which product would be getting the
technology? Their modems OR the access servers OR both? Very interesting
news... Thanks.
