While I don't have any suggestions for the problem you described, your
comparison of the PortMaster acting like it's on crack suddenly brought to
mind those anonymous folks at Livingston who came up with the $6,500 annual
support contract that provides you with the same free support you already
get, but after hours as well.

There's something in common here. I just can't quite put my finger on it.
