Cant get rid of USERNAMES

We are in desperate need of assistance for the following problem. We
consistently
receive six to eight USERNAMES per day using Livingston Portmaster 2e's and
SupraFAXModem
288 freestanding modems. Most of the time the modems can be reset remotely,
but many times
a manual power cycle is required. This causes our users to get a Ring No
Answer. Our init
string is as follows:

at&f2&w\r^OK^at&c1&d3&k3&q5s0=1m0&w\r^OK^
Port Speed = 115200,115200,115200
Modem control is set to on
RTS?CTS is set to on.

On many occasions we receive a USERNAMES that can not be cleared by
resetting the port
remotely, or power cycling locally. Modems and cables have been switched
out. Room is
kept at approx. 74 Degrees. Any suggestions in this matter would be of
great assistance
in helping us get this problem resolved.

Thank You

Ron Rosson
