We are considering upgrading from the Portmaster 2E30's we have to either
the PM3's or an Ascend Max 4000. I like the PM3 because of the price and
the good luck we have had with Livingston in the past. What I need to know
is should I stick with the analog setup I have now or go to one of these
other boxes. What exactly are the Pro's and Cons of going digital?
Also if I stayed analog should I go to a managed rack system (busying out
modems on the portmaster is something that really needs work....unless I
just don't see it in the documentation)? Would love to get away from the
wires from hell if it is at all possible.
