username on one of the ports

I seem to be having a problem with port s27 on my portmaster.
It's configured excatly the same as the others. There is no
modem attached to it, yet, it still pops up with a USERNAME
over and over again. I tried reset s27 but after 5 or 6
seconds, it puts USERNAME back in there. Is something wrong
with the port?
