I have a cisco 2501, a PM2E20 in my company and a PM2ER30 in another
city, the PM2ER30 routes our clients by a Synchronous PPP connection with
our cisco, the PM2E20 has an ethernet connection with cisco and the cisco
routes both portmasters by a X25 connection. They have a netmask of
255.255.255.240, don't uses the first or the last subnets, but both
portmasters, sometimes, assign the broadcasts ip's to our dialin clients.
Does anyone have a quick lesson on how to handle the portmaster
assigned ip's on a subneted network?
