Kai,

Thanks for the input. I did set up the IP address on the PM through a null modem
to port S0, set the netmask and brooadcast to high and saved it using "save all".
When I tried to ping the host, I see the ethernet activity led goes on and then
got "No answer from the <host>" message. The host and the PM do not seem to see
each other.

Any other thoughts?
