Once upon a time Stefan Hudson shaped the electrons to say...
>add route <network> <dest> 1 netmask 255.255.240.0
>
>and then
>
>add netmask <network> 255.255.240.0
>
>but it still routes as if it was a /24 netmask.

add route (network) (gateway) 1

add netmask (network) 255.255.240.0

Check a show routes and a show table netmask to make sure both are in
place.

You know, I'm not totally clear on this. Is this *your* network? If
so, the ether0 netmask should be 255.255.240.0 and you don't need to add
a route of use the netmask table.
