(PM) E Icon Diva ISDN modem

A customer of ours has a E Icon DIVA ISDN modem. If I ping him, he stays
on line just fine... For any number of time... Other than that, he gets
disconnected within 5 minutes, even when downloading... He has his dual b
channels with load balancing... 70% Threshhold on 2nd line. We thought
that is was a timeout feature of his modem, but its set to 0 (disabled).
He was getting 85% packet loss over a series of 250 some odd pings...
And when changed his flow control to software instead of software (power
cycled modem / computer) it got him to 0% packet loss. He is still
experiencing disconnects. Ameritech has had him dialed up on their
routers... He has the latest firmware code, or so he says... Dont know
which version...

Livingston PortMaster PM-3 ComOS 3.8.2c2
System uptime is 6 days 5 hours 39 minutes
Any suggestions? Anyone with this type of modem that has any problems on
PM3?
