Hello,

These SHOULD use the same &U and &N commands as the Usr/3com.
The commands may be found at http://808hi.com

Subject: (PM) Smartlink TI (Texas Instruments) chipset modems

I have a couple of users with Smartlink V.90 modems from Archtek. These
things have Texas Instruments chipsets. The modem model is 5634BTS.
This modem connects fine (ComOS 3.8)--usually between 49,333 and
50,666--but renegotiates a lot. I'd like to try to limit its connect
rate to see if that solves the problem, but I can't seem to find any
info on how to do this. Does anyone have an init string for setting the
maximum connect speed for the TI chipsets?

Thanks!

Craig
