Once upon a time Michael J. Davis shaped the electrons to say...
>Has anyone had any experience in getting a user using "shotgun" technology
>working with a PM3?

Note that 'Shotgun' is the brand name for Diamond's technology and not a
generic term. It *IS* different from just bonding modems under Win95 say.

BOTh are based on standard MP and will work calling a PM-3 or PM-4 with
ComOS 3.8 or higher. Just make sure you don't have a Port-Limit = 1 in
the RADIUS profile for the user.

The difference is that Diamond replaces or suppliments the standard
drivers in Windows - and Diamond's drivers *work*. So this is nice.

The drivers in Windows, pre-DUN 1.3, are trash. DUN 1.3 is better, but
still *weak*. You have to mess with the port buffers, generally chopping
the FIFO down to nil, to make this usable. Otherwise using two modems can
actually be SLOWER than a single modem.
