They are NOT winmodems, they are 16 bit Jumperless HARDWARE Sportsters.
Another 3Com product that I am not real fond of. They are NOT winmodems,
but still Require a PnP environment to operate. I have had good
(acceptable) luck with most of them, but every now and then you get a stinker.
Tell 3Com that this SUCKS.
