In addition to the suggestion to reload ComOS (thanks
jlixfeld@idirect.com), jwblist@olympus.net wanted to know if I had set max
pmconsole without doing a proper save. Unfortunately, the last time I had
changed that was back in October or November, with multiple 'save all's in
between. tull@mail.camalott.com's suggestion to make sure that they didn't
have the machine name the same in their Network settings also didn't pan
out, as I got my first verifiable Mac call about the same problem. That
particular user was able to send and recieve IMAP email (using Mulberry - I
highly recommend it!), but not surf _anywhere_. I don't have any filters
set. Yes, I know it's probably a bad idea, but all of our PPP users are
teachers or school staff. No kids.
In light of this new info, I'm off to reinstall ComOS on this puppy...
As soon as I get a tftp server up. :-)
More news, summaries in the works as they happen.
Thanks for the input!
