Once upon a time Michael R. Anderson shaped the electrons to say...
>Welcome to the bounces mailing list!

>If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list,
>send the following command in email to
>"bounces-request":
>
> unsubscribe
>
>Or you can send mail to "majordomo" with the following command
>in the body of your email message:

> unsubscribe bounces support@pdqlink.com

>Here's the general information for the list you've
>subscribed to, in case you don't already have it:
>
>For addresses bouncing from the majordomo@livingston.com list server

The last line explains it. 'bounces' is a semi-standard majordoomo
thing. If email to you from one of the other lists bounces, then you are
removed from that last and added to 'bounces' Then they can send a
notice out later (I used to do it every Monday) in case you hadn't noticed.
